Participants must write, shoot and edit a three-minute film in just five days. Each film uses a randomly assigned title, genre and prop. Whether filming on a phone or a professional camera, it’s all about imagination, bold ideas and storytelling that captures the spirit of our seaside town.
Films are screened locally, often at The Printworks in Hastings. Audiences and judges enjoy an eclectic mix of shorts, from surreal and hilarious to deeply meaningful. The atmosphere is electric, full of energy, community pride and conversation.
