Yes, in mid October, Hastings has a week of celebrations ending on the Saturday with a major torchlight procession around the town followed by a massive bonfire on the beach and a stunning firework display. Take a look at the HBBS web page.

Yes, there are many places to have breakfast in the town. Most within 2 -5 minutes walk.
Yes, there is a great selection of ALL types of restaurants in the town.
Rye is around a 20 – 30 minute drive or train ride away.
Yes, the train and bus stations are 3 minutes walk from the Apollo.
Yes, approximately 200 meters. A walk along the seafront from Hastings through St Leonards to Bexhill is 5 miles.
We have a shopping centre just around the corner and there are many other independent retailers around the town and in St Leonards.
It is around 15 minute lovely walk along the promenade.
If the train is booked to stop at Ashford, there you must change and catch the service to Hastings. If not, continue to Ebsfleet International and change trains (aproxamately every 30 minutes) to take you back to Ashford International where you will find a through service to Hastings.
No. Towels are supplied. We use luxury Linenhall 650GSM cotton combed towels. Although you will need your own if you need them for the beach.
You may know that mattresses come in all sorts of comfort levels, from hard (orthopaedic) to very soft. We have gone down the middle and opted for the medium Flexcell Pocket 1000. We did ask our guests on their quality of sleep on these and everyone said they were extremely comfortable.
Yes, with supplies of tea, coffee, chocolate, fresh water, fruit juice and biscuits.
The Apollo is situated in the town centre about 15 minute walk away from the Congress.

There are usually 3 trains an hour that run to Eastbourne, the journey time is about 30 minutes. It will take around 45 minutes to drive.
Senlac Hill is the site and this is situated in the town of Battle. You can spend a good few hours in the town with its attractions, e.g. Battle Abbey, The Battle’s exhibition centre & Yesterdays World.

3 minutes. We can see the train station from the front door, the buses also stop outside the station. The coach drop off point is 5 minutes walk through the town centre.
