The World Crazy Golf Championships (WCGC) have been an annual event since 2003, hosted at the Adventure Golf Complex on the seafront of Hastings, East Sussex. Since 2016, the tournament has taken place in June, with the next event scheduled for June 6-8, 2025. This competition attracts individual players from various countries, including England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Finland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Portugal, and the United States.
The World Crazy Golf Championships is open to everyone with no age restriction. In 2013, Czech teenager Olivia Prokopová became the first female winner and also the youngest ever champion at the age of 18. Throughout the tournament’s 21-year history up to 2023, seven different players have won the championship. The winner of the tournament receives £1,000 in prize money, with a further £2,000 distributed among the placed players.
