The Famous May Day Motorbike Run to Hastings is an annual event full of tradition and adrenaline. Dating back to the mid-1970s, the May Day Run began as a small gathering of local bikers. It has since grown into a massive spectacle, with thousands of participants revving their engines in anticipation. The scenic route from London to Hastings spans about 60 miles and winds through some of England’s most beautiful countryside.
When riders reach Hastings, the seafront promenade fills with chrome and leather. The beach becomes a showcase for motorcycles of all types, from vintage classics to sleek modern machines. Enthusiasts swap stories, admire each other’s bikes and enjoy the shared thrill of the open road.
