The World Crazy Golf Championships (WCGC) is the world’s premier crazy golf tournament, attracting players from across the UK, Europe and beyond to compete for the sport’s most prestigious title. Held annually at Hastings Adventure Golf on the seafront in Hastings, East Sussex, the championship has become one of the UK’s most unique and popular sporting events since its launch in 2003.

The 2026 World Crazy Golf Championships will take place from 5–7 June 2026, welcoming amateur and professional players alike to compete on the famous Adventure Golf Complex. Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or playing in your first major mini golf event, everyone has the opportunity to become World Champion.

International Crazy Golf Tournament Since 2003

For more than two decades, the World Crazy Golf Championships has brought together competitors from around the globe. Players have travelled from England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Finland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Portugal, the United States and many other countries to test their putting skills in Hastings.

The tournament is open to all ages and abilities. This makes it one of the most accessible international sporting events in the UK. Over the years, the championship has produced many memorable moments and remarkable champions.

In 2013, Czech player Olivia Prokopová made history by becoming the first female World Crazy Golf Champion. At just 18 years old, she also became the youngest-ever winner of the title. She won the championship again in 2017. Guinness World Records recognises her for the most World Crazy Golf Championship victories by a female player.

With a history spanning more than 20 years, the World Crazy Golf Championships continues to showcase the very best talent in competitive crazy golf and minigolf.

Prize Fund and Championship Glory

As well as competing for the honour of becoming World Crazy Golf Champion, players have the opportunity to win a share of the tournament prize fund. The winner receives £1,000 in prize money, with a further £2,000 distributed among the highest-placed competitors.
