The South of England Show is one of the UK’s best-loved countryside events. It takes place every June at the South of England Showground in Ardingly, Sussex. The three-day event attracts thousands of visitors from across the South East.
Farming Heritage and Rural Traditions Since 1967
Organised by the South of England Agricultural Society, the show has celebrated British farming and rural life since 1967. Visitors can enjoy livestock competitions, showjumping events and heavy horse displays. Falconry demonstrations, vintage machinery and live arena entertainment also feature throughout the weekend.
Food, Drink and Artisan Produce
Food lovers can explore local produce halls and artisan market stalls. There are also street food vendors and regional drink tastings across the showground.
Family Attractions and Countryside Entertainment
Families will find children’s activities, funfair rides and animal encounters. The event combines traditional countryside heritage with modern family entertainment.

The South of England Showground is located near Haywards Heath in the beautiful High Weald countryside, only a short drive from Apollo Guest House in Hastings. The 150-acre venue hosts many seasonal events throughout the year and is easily accessible from Sussex, Kent and London.
