Hastings Beer and Music Festival started in 1981 and is a annual three-day event organised by Hastings Round Table. In 2017, the HBMF committee decided that the event had outgrown its home in Alexandra Park and after 35 years moved to it’s new venue at The Oval on Bohemia Road in Hastings.

It is the biggest social event in the area, with stunning sea views from it’s elevated venue at The Oval. The event is entirely staffed by volunteers, and as such every single penny (over £1m to date) raised goes to local good causes.

The festival celebrates the best of local beer, food, and music. Held over a weekend, the festival attracts visitors from across the region who come to sample a wide variety of locally-brewed beers, ciders, and wines. Alongside the drinks, there are plenty of food stalls serving up tasty treats, and live music from local bands and artists to keep you entertained throughout the day and into the night. With a fun and friendly atmosphere, the Hastings Beer and Music Festival is a great way to soak up the local culture and enjoy a weekend of festivities with friends and family. In recent years, approximately 10,000 people attend the festival each year.
