Kick-starting the famous Hastings Old Town Carnival Week, the Nearly on the Beach Concert is a much-loved free live music event on the seafront at the Stade Open Space.
This lively two-day event brings together a mix of local bands and artists. It creates a relaxed, festival-style atmosphere right by the beach. Expect everything from rock and reggae to blues and soul.
The concert has run for over 30 years and relies on a dedicated team of local volunteers. Organisers, performers and helpers all give their time to make the event happen.
Entry is free, but donations are welcome. Funds raised support local charities, including the RNLI, Hastings Sea Cadets and Pett Level Rescue Boat.
