Kick-starting the famous Hastings Old Town Carnival Week, the Nearly on the Beach Concert is a much-loved free live music event on the seafront at the Stade Open Space.
Free Live Music on Hastings Seafront
This lively two-day event brings together a mix of local bands and artists. It creates a relaxed, festival-style atmosphere right by the beach. Expect everything from rock and reggae to blues and soul.
A Long-Running Community Music Event
The concert has run for over 30 years and relies on a dedicated team of local volunteers. Organisers, performers and helpers all give their time to make the event happen.
Supporting Local Charities in Hastings
The Nearly on the Beach Concert is a free event, but donations are welcome. Funds raised support local charities, including the RNLI, Hastings Sea Cadets and Pett Level Rescue Boat.
