The Rye & District Country Show is a popular summer event bringing together the local community, visitors and countryside enthusiasts. It offers a traditional day out in 1066 Country, with rural displays, local stalls and family-friendly entertainment.
Horse Shows, Dog Shows and Countryside Entertainment
Visitors can enjoy a wide range of attractions throughout the day. These include horse and dog shows, classic cars, a dog grand national, terrier racing, children’s activities, food and drink stalls and craft displays.
A Family Day Out Near Hastings and Rye
Located just a short drive from Hastings, the Rye & District Country Show makes an excellent countryside day trip during a stay on the Sussex coast. The Icklesham location places visitors close to historic Rye, Romney Marsh and the wider 1066 Country area.

The event is organised in aid of St Michael’s Hospice. It helps support the local community while providing a memorable annual day out for families and visitors across East Sussex.
